She was a lawyer and later director for the Program for Central America and Mexico of the Center for Justice and International Law (CEJIL), she specialized in the Inter-American Human Rights System by providing training on the matter and representing hundreds of victims of rights violations. human rights in cases before the Inter-American Commission and Court of Human Rights. Currently, she is the Director of the Francisco Suárez University Center for Dignity and Justice (CUDJ).

He was the Executive Director of the Association for Civil Rights and served on the board of the Laboratory of Public Policy and Citizen Power. He was also appointed as Undersecretary of Strategic Management and Institutional Quality in the government of the City of Buenos Aires from 2015 to 2019.

He has a master’s degree in Regional Studies on Development and Environment from Universidad Iberoamericana, with postgraduate diplomas and specialization in Environmental Management from the University of California Berkeley (USA) and in Environmental Economics from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain). She specialized on Ecological and Environmental Economics at the Faculty of Economics of the UNAM.
She has worked as an official for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in direct collaboration with the Global Fund for the Environment (GEF). She has also had experience in the public sector, NGO’s, and international non-profit organizations. She belongs to the network of researchers of the Iztaccíhuatl-Popocatépetl National Park. She is currently a full-time professor and researcher at the Department of International Relations and Political Science at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP).
